Great little interpretive center. Well worth a visit. Go buy some merch to support their volunteer-only operations.
The two room cabin was clean and well stocked with the essentials. Everything was on working order. The bed is very hard so you might want to bring a pad for extra cushion. We had a very pleasant evening here. Great location and very quiet.
For being 88 years old, this 3 room cabin is decent. It has what you need. Table, 5 chairs, fridge and stove in the kitchen. In the 1 bedroom, a twin over double bunk and another twin, dresser, night stand, bench. The bathroom is small with a tube like shower stall. There are no maids, trash bags or linens. You have to clean the place yourself. There are cleaning products, mop, and shop vac. There are no washing machine, dryer, dishwasher or toaster.
