The Portage Quilt House carries lovely fabrics for all seasons in wide ranges of colors. Interesting fabric and fiber artwork catch your eye as you wander through the store - just perfect for gifts or something special to make for your home! Joanne and Judy are great with color, textures, designs and finishing techniques. A must stop for the quilter!
The best quilt shop in the U.P. Joanne and Judy are so wonderful with helping match fabrics, give ideas and their lines of fabric are amazing.

Great place with awesome people! We are retired and were traveling in the area visiting friends. They took the time and extra effort to actually talk to my novice quilt making wife and REALLY helped her with some generous instruction, helped her make some important color and pattern decisions and gave her encouragement she needed. You gotta love real customer service!
