RecommendedWe love Port Royal Vet!! They always take such good care of our Jäger and Dr. Martin is super professional, respects your time, and doesn’t want to waste your money. Everyone is typically clear on what we can expect and everyone is nice. We couldn’t ask for more! As I understand, PRV is more spendy than other vets in the area, but so far the service and care we’ve received has been well worth the money. :)

On June 9, 2020, we rushed our dog Otis for an emergency visit at Port Royal Vet Hospital, complaining of a possible fracture on his front right leg. They performed x-rays, and Dr. Michelle Martin determined there was no fracture, just a sprain. She sent him home with pain and anti-inflammatory medications. The next day, my dog woke up with immense swelling, which was worse than the initial incident. This is an excellent facility and staff! My old vet had retired and closed his practice and something came up with my dog that needed attention. I called them as soon as they opened Monday morning and they got me an appointment within a few hours that same day. Although times are trying due to COVID and their procedures are altered as a health precaution, they handle it very smoothly. My dog had a 3 inch gash on his leg. The Animal hospital quoted me $504 dollars and my dog would be boarded for the weekend. my daughter wanted her dog home, not boarded. We then Tried Port Royal Veterinarian hospital. 30 percent more expensive than Animal hospital. That doesn’t include boarding, just the procedure. Avian emergency (broken leg) on Mother's Day no less. The quality of service was impressive and much appreciated. From initial phone contact with Dr. Marikay, to the interview with Heather, to the diagnosis, treatment and guidance rendered by Dr. Stark was exemplary in its' sincerity, compassion and professionalism. Doesn't get any better...HIGHLY recommend!!!

This is the absolute best group of people!!! They treat your fur babies like part of their family. Each and every member of the staff cares for your pets just as much as you do. I am so glad I switched to them years ago. I only wish I would have done it sooner.
