We were definitely concerned because the reviews were so bad. We took our chances and stayed here for a whole week with our kids. This place totally exceed expectations! I would not agree with a single bad review. The pools were spectacular, staff was extremely friendly, everything was open. Yes, minor construction for remodel they are actively working on but it is to be expected. The beach was amazing, so nice and the boardwalk to beach was safe and nice. We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Pools were all open except for 1 hot tub and clean. The heated pool feels amazing as do the hot tubs. Unfortunately there is a water restriction and the slides and solar pad were all closed. The inflatable obstacle course was also out of service due to a leak they have been unable to patch. We had always loved coming here to stay and play, and especially for the Sunday brunches. We were in the area and stopped in to inquire about amenities, progress being made and possible/prospective use as a future venue rental. We were met by an older lady who was less than welcoming and barely answered the questions we had, her demeanor was as if we interrupted her tv watching and we were bothering her.
