The lack of professionalism, from the office manager all the way to the nurses, is unacceptable. You can send messages through the patient portal, but they conveniently won’t respond because they don’t want their nasty attitudes documented in writing. When the front office can’t check patients in or do anything beside play in their phone that should be the warning sign At this point, it’s absolutely worth making the drive to Charleston for any care needed. The difference in professionalism and patient care is night and day.
Port Royal OBGYN provides the highest quality of obstetric care I have received. Dr. Blau is incredibly compassionate, intentional, and articulate—always seeing me as a human first, and a patient second. I came to Port Royal OBGYN after an incredibly complicated pregnancy and was looking for better care moving forward. Dr. Blau took his time to truly understand the situation and ask how he could best support me.
Dr. Werner at Port Royal OB cared for me throughout my whole pregnancy. He did my ECV and delivered my baby. He is a great doctor that cares for his patients and listens to them. I like his attitude and humor. I had a great experience with all his staff, nurses, ultrasound tech, as well.
