A beach full of super huge shells.. if you can even call it a beach. Beaufort evidently only had 1 public beach. Hunting island and they charge 8 dollars for adults . Port royal is free but just look at the pictures . I have 3 daughters... They could only pick shells .. take the drive to hunting beach.. pay the 8 bucks.. don't waste your feet on those murderous shells.
Alot of updates and cleaning up over last year or so.
The great spot the boat landing the little steep on a low tide but still very easily accessible
