I walked in and immediately left. The smell was horrible and can guarantee there was spoiled food in abundance. Port of subs is good but this one should be left alone until they do something to clean it.
The #8 sandwich at Port of Subs is easily one of the best subs I’ve had. The meats are freshly sliced to order, which makes a big difference in taste. I got mine with provolone, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and a little mayo and mustard. The bread was very soft and fresh.
I always get a spicy tuna provolone with jalapenos and it's absolutely amazing especially if you get it toasted
Good sandwiches. They used to have a secret menu item called the Shaggy. It was a modified number 1 on sourdough with chipotle mayo and franks red-hot, double toasted. This is still the best sandwich I've ever had. They should add this amazing sandwich to their official menu, but I'm under the impression that this item was only at this location and made by the employees who worked at the store during that time.
