This sub was fantastic. Wife and I split the number 4. I will say I’m glad I kept asking for more squirts of mayo and mustard. May have been slightly dry without but I really liked it and the price is nice. I will eat here again.
So I don’t come often but last couple times I ordered a small or medium teriyaki chicken and it was killer. This time I ordered large. The way they heat up the chicken and cheese are in a bowl. I wasn’t really watching. So the guy making my sandwich brings two bowls over to put the contents on the sandwich. I was watching this. Could make a sub better with my eyes closed. Consistently the worst sandwich I’ve had in Castle Rock. Barely any substance in the sandwich and little to no condiments. The only thing that’s truly good is the bread. Honestly if the sandwich was put together with the same ingredients, more thought in prep of the protein and sandwich assembly. I believe this would be a worthwhile purchase. But currently you’re better off going anywhere else.
It’s never ideal to leave a negative review, but I believe it’s important that both management and future customers are aware of the experience I had. To start with the positive — the gentleman who prepared my chicken and offered menu suggestions was professional and helpful. He was the only highlight of my visit.
