Currently shut as the owner is retired . Port visitors center is worth a look as is a walk around the port . Mainly residential boats . Do the swinging bridge on a Sat/ Sun to see it open at 3pm .
Had picnic lunch near Port plenty of places to sit at tables. Peaceful no noise from traffic. Will be back
Lovely way to spend a couple of hours and hear of the history of the canal and early Sale.
