Sad to say But after many communications with people of the port and who have worked with the Port. They only care about one thing and that's money. They knew that moving in huge factories near Portland would cause major issues but ignored them. They actually sued the small town of Portland to make sure they would stay out of the ports business when they knew the neighboring community would have issues with unreal noise, lights and property values going down. Commission meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month at the Congressman Solomon P. Ortiz International Center @ 8:30 a.m. The public comment portion of the meeting is near the very top of the agenda.
