Fabulous house with plenty of room for 4 couples. Big bedrooms and bathrooms. Beautiful pool. Great indoor and outdoor living areas. Extra fridge and freezer in butlers pantry were handy. Close enough to shops and beach to walk (if feeling inclined after all the lazing around by the pool). Would be handy to have some of the light switches labelled, especially the numerous ones near the back doors - takes some fiddling to figure out the outdoor lights, fans, pool lights, water feature, jets etc Would definitely stay there aga... read more
We had the White House for a week in late October to celebrate a special birthday. 6 adults and 4 children. It was the perfect house, so well appointed, comfortable and a great location. We loved it
We stayed at 1/48 Garrick Street and was our third stay there. It is a beautiful villa and always well maintained. Everything you might need is there and the location is brilliant. You are close enough to all the restaurants to walk but are far enough away to not hear any noise. We really like Port D Getaways as the money they earn stays in Australia but the service and support while you are there is also first class. We have booked with them again for same time in 2025.
Eleven of our family celebrated a special event in Port Douglas recently and we stayed at 17 Solander Drive . What a wonderful property, kept immaculately. The property has 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, so from 9 month old to an over 70 we each had our special place to retreat to if needed . The property has 3 eating areas to choose from, informal outside, inside formal and a kitchen nook table. The pool was amazing great design and so so warm, The remote contol lights and spa were fun.
