Wow. Has this place changed. A little over 5 yrs ago I went in to get my coffee before starting my shift as a nurse at New Hanover. I was even given a customer of the week recognition! Went this am after endoscopic procedure, really looking forward to my favorite coffee. I couldn't even drink it. Asked for Black Mountain with 2 creams. Bitter and a waste of my money. Not sure what's going on with service.
I go to Port City Java every once in a while (let’s face it, it’s expensive these days) but when I do, we go to the one on 17th street. They are always nice and they always get my coffee right!! I always get the espresso shake with French vanilla and salted caramel flavoring and sometimes some caramel on top. Yes I know, this sounds like diabetes in a cup lol, but that’s why I only go every once in a while lol. If you’re looking for reliability, great service and awesome coffee then go here!
