Port City Java has been waking up Wilmington, NC since 1995. Nestled in the heart of historic downtown, our first café quickly became a hub for coffee lovers in the community. Our admittedly simple goals were to bring great, fresh-roasted coffee to our neighbors with the help of a charming but ever mischievous 15-kilo Ambex roaster. Port City Java has evolved and grown to operate over 30 cafes as well as its own bakery, roastery and distribution center since then. We look forward to seeing you soon!

The drive thru is beyond slow! Especially the porters neck one. I just waited 10 minutes with only one car in the line. I ended up leaving. I’m not paying $7 for a watered down coffee after waiting that long.
Be prepared to wait in the drive-thru at a minimum of 10m no matter how small the order, or the absence of cars ahead of you, this is a trend I've noticed over the last 4y of going to this location, as well as filling your iced coffee cup 75% full of ice to use less coffee in the cup 😐

guys please do not come here. the coffee tastes burnt. but that’s not the worst of all…… THEY HAVE COCKROACHES. i found a dead one in the lobby. i was so grossed out. i wanted to vomit. their sanitation rating was a 96 i think but it should be at least an 89. also asking for tips?? seems a little pushy and awkward to me. like i was going to give you one anyway. guys chill.
