Sophie is a remarkable host! Make sure you make time to talk with her, because she has lived a long and fulfilling life. She is very capable of heavy discussions and is interested in so many things. Yet very “down to earth” as well. Also a great sense of humor. One of the most engaging persons I have ever met. Bravo to her and her splendid guest house!
Sophie welcomed us w open arms altho we were very last minute making reservations. We've never been to a B&B so we really didn't know what to expect. Turned out to be a wonderful 2 nights in Wilmington and its Sophie herself that makes all the difference. Thank you Sophie.
Sophie was a wonderful hostess; extremely accommodating. The house is a museum itself! Absolutely beautiful inside and one could spend hours admiring her unique collection of historical and authentic details and antiques. I had a great time with my Mother, who was visiting from Plymouth, MA.
