I have been seeing Dr. Poronsky for about 25 years. He's always done well by me. The move to being associated with Loyola, I think, went well at the beginning. Any more I have waited as long as 20 minutes on hold just to schedule an appointment. It has gotten so bad that I have called the nurses line to leave a message that I needed an appointment. Moved from private practice to Loyola and charged almost $1,000 for a routine visit with routine blood and urine testing. Then attempted to correct it by charging me again but didn't remove the old balance. NOW trying to get over $500 from me for their mistake and about to be turned into collection. They could care less. Have spent over a month trying to get them to fix it and they don't care - THEY ARE LOYOLA NOW. Big whoop. I was a patient at their office for years. I ran into a few hard months, and owed them 180.00...I was waiting for my tax return, which came in the same time I ran out of my blood pressure medicine. I paid the 180.00, and submitted my request to the pharmacy. They called me, told me I was no longer a patient of Dr. Poronsky. I called the office, and they verified it,even though I paid. I explained I was not feeling good, could they at least call in a weeks prescription. NOPE! Way to go caring!!

I’ve been a patient for a few years. I’ve had the pleasure of being seen by Caithlin, Colleen &’Dr. P. & unfortunately Christine . She “lectured “ me about losing 25+ pounds for my health. Umm has she been on a scale lately or looked in a full size mirror? That saying, people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones! She was very condescending & I WILL NEVER see her again. Rest of the offfice is great!
