Cute little airport, friendy staff, clean facilities, indoor and out door seating while you wait. Once your plane arrives the Captain hands you a delicous freshly homemade sandwich & a bottle of water while you board the plane.

I have been flying to Pormpuraaw each fortnight for 12 months now and can honestly say that the wonderful and professional team at Pormpuraaw airport are absolutely incredible. Will, Marcus and Jimmy do an exceptional job with their consistancy, reliability and communication. The customer service is second to none.
The airport is situated next to the beach.Ocean views during landing and takeoff. Having a shuttle bus is convenient for passengers.
