Good food, – I have eaten here for years ,and after they have changed ownership last year, it is alot cleaner,and alot faster service.I feel the employees are not nearly as friendly,Over all, the food is still excellent,actually the beef gravy is much better now and the cleanliness is quite noticable.
One of Chicago's best! – Pop's should be at the top of anyone's list for beef. the flavor is great and so is the value. I have probably gone to Pop's more than any other Beef place and there is a reason. I will say a few times the beef has not been the best but, when you go some where a lot it will tend to happen. I will say an ok beef at Pop's is still better than most beefs you will have in the city. Try the Combo and Giardiniera.
The Best Beef – Pop's has the best Italian beef anywhere! A newcomer to Chicago, Pop's was the first beef sandwich I ever had and I have yet to find anything that rivals it. The giardinera is fresh and mild, very different from traditional hot peppers.
pops is simply 4* fast food – pops italian beef is one of the best fast food hamburger, beef, and dog joints in chicagoland. no dining room but outstanding beef. also recommend chicken and chili dogs
