Order ahead still had to wait in a long line behind people getting lunch. About 15 people. The pulled pork was delicious
Popular with the locals. We spent at least 15 minutes in line. The line was continual, which included the time eating there. The food came out hot with a little bit of a wait. All is served in to go containers. Sides are solid. Hash is tasty, but a tad heavy on grease. Chopped pork is good, but comes with a different spice mix. Recommend getting sauce on the side. They aren’t kidding about running out of food. By the time we ordered they were out of chicken, ribs and brisket. Suggest getting there on the front side of lunch.
Oh my GOODNESS! I just had a BBQ sandwich from there and it was delicious! I don't eat BBQ a lot since Neals in Dearing went out of business, but I can promise you I will be back! So good 😊
Damn right, im posting this from the car! That's how good this food was. Passing through on the way back to the A. Texted a buddy who is from Augusta about a good bbq spot, this was the recommendation. Had rib dinner with mac and cheese and baked beans. Everything was on point. Not a big vinegar base sauce guy, but this one was perfect. Not overpowering. Ribs fell off the bone. I even got a brisket dinner to go with key lime cake.
