Fine dining prices for low quality food. We decided to give Popolo another try, our fourth, and regret that we did. We started off with arugula salads that had rotten pieces of arugula and some yellowed leaves. It looked like it was dumped out of the bottom of a bag a few pieces of shaved parmesan on scattered for $13 price tag. I love lemon but the salad dressing had so much lemon and some kind of cheap oil mixed with it, dreadful. Ordered an arugula salad. What I thought was croutons ended up being a tiny handful of cubed chicken. The chicken was not fresh. I think it’s precooked because it was dry and chewy. That salad was $20. Also ordered a Tuscan Chicken special. I believe it was the same chicken they used for the salad also chewy. The fettuccine was cooked perfect but the sauce had no taste.
