Having used Poplar Grove a few times now for our late night or Friday end of day emergencies, herd health checks and annual needs on all the critters--I can without a doubt recommend them. The herd health checks always go super smooth (and that's saying something whenever goats are involved). We've had the pleasure of having Dr. Stacey out in the past and this year Dr. Linda along with Terra as well. This is the best vet clinic I have ever been too. Every single person I dealt with, was kind, compassionate, and you can tell they are definitely there because their love for animals. They are upfront about costs, and they also help direct you in ways to save money, but keep your animals healthy and happy. I definitely recommend pet insurance still though. My dog went for surgery, after the week they said he was walking around outside and stuff so we could pick him up. when we picked him up his eyes were clouded and he didn’t recognize us. turns out they mixed to drugs thst couldn’t be mixed. he seized for 24 hours and then we sadly had to put him down. don’t risk your pets life

Their website states that they encourage questions regarding your animals, but this was not what I experienced. After my four year old dog experienced a cardiac event, I asked for guidance from two of their vets, and neither of them got back to me, even though this was potentially life-threatening, and she had recently been diagnosed with this condition at their clinic. This team of people helped us out so much! We were let down by our regular vet clinic when we needed emergency service to look at our dog. We were traveling home from Ontario, and were probably 4 hours from home when we found out that our elderly dog, who was being looked after by my dad, wasn't able to walk. We knew that she had been having issues, so we were pretty much accepting that she would have to be put down.
