As a former resident of southern Louisiana with adult children, I remember the original Popeyes spicy chicken well. My food in FL was hot, not greasy, salty and not quite as tasty as it used to be in LA. Needs the salt. Biscuit was hard, not fresh and the fries were great! Self service ordering was fairly easy s was payment. No root beer in the drink dispenser. Atmosphere was fine for any fast food place & was clean.
Sometimes I forget Popeyes exists, but then somebody brings it up as an idea and I’m all in! My only complaint is that we ordered a ghost pepper sandwich and a spicy sandwich and we could not tell them apart. Otherwise, service was great and it was a very quick pick up!
I’ve been coming to this location for a few years and I have yet to have a negative experience. Shout out to the gentlemen the served us at the drive thru this morning. Super polite and welcoming. Even offered my mom a cup of water while we waited for our food because she had a slight cough. Excellent customer service. Kudos to the entire staff!
