RIP Popeye's in Winter Park. I started eating there in 2000 when I moved to Winter Park from South Florida. There used to be a picture on the wall of this location in the 1970's. We survived the remodel together, and protesting the opening of the Casselberry location. (turns out that place sucks anyways) I was a well known guest up until around 2018 when the traffic just got too bad due to Winter Park's greedy overbuilding. You will be missed by me, but not by my waistline!
Some reason, people here don't know how to cook!🧐
I attempted to order at the counter and waited, and waited and waited. No one came to help me after 5 minutes so I left. It was 2:30 in the afternoon and 5 or 6 people in the kitchen. Very disappointed!
This location has improved so much. Please keep up the great work! Our food was hot and fresh. The fries were crispy, hot and perfect. This will definitely be our favorite location! ♥️
