Spicy chicken sandwich tasted rubbery to me (8/2024). Fast forward a year (8/25/25)and decided to try again. Ordered a sprite that ended up being sparkling water, a spicy wrap with missing spice, and cold chicken wings. I’ll check back in next year if I try it again.
Top 1 worst Popeyes in the country. Never more than one employee in the building, food served in Walmart bags (not joking), chicken is at least several hours old and will be served cold. Awful, would rate zero stars if possible.
The team member who took my order was very pleasant, attentive and asked the right questions. Big kudos for this part of my experience. The dining room tables were in need of cleaning. My chicken sandwich was cold. The rice and beans had half a dozen beans and a teaspoon of sauce. A more apt name for this side would have rice with a light sprinkling of beans. Very disappointed and will avoid this store in the future.
The restaurant was clean and the soda was fine that's about all I can say. The food was at best tepid and that was 11:50 right before the lunch rush.
So I go to this location to try the chicken sandwich for the first time and I experienced many of the issues reported in other reviews. Old-ish food and a long wait. I do not mind a wait if the food is good, but it just wasn't. A point I was trying to make to the manager over there is this....If you put a hot piece of chicken over a cold pickle, by the time I get home (10 minutes or so), the pickle should no longer be cold.
