There is something seriously wrong with the people working at this location. I’ve never encountered such awful service at a fast food establishment, and I have a low bar. ALL I WANT TO DO IS GET MY FOOD AND LEAVE IN A TIMELY MANNER. But it’s like they actively go out of their way to withhold your order. It has to be on purpose at this point. I picked up a quick late lunch from this Popeyes location. I’ve had Popeyes in several states before, so I knew what to expect. I ordered the two-piece chicken meal with Cajun fries and a biscuit. The chicken was well-seasoned and crispy, and the fries had their usual Cajun flavor. However, the food had a noticeable oily smell that made it less enjoyable. 3-piece dark chicken meal arrived in under six minutes on a Thursday lunchtime, crisp coating that didn't cascade crumbs everywhere on the walk to the table. The thigh meat was tender and well-seasoned with a solid kick, not merely salty. Dining area was mostly clean but the tables near the window had a slight sticky feel. Plastic fork bent on the mashed potatoes, so I used the spork hiding under the napkin pile in the side container station instead. Reasonable value for the portion size overall.
