I haven't ate at Popeyes in so long, I overhyped my expectations. The fried chicken is not good, it was dry & had a lot of breading with barely any chicken. The mashed potatoes with gravy & roll are delicious.
Drove thru to get a crispy chicken sandwich, their heavily advertised fish sandwich and a drink. I was told they were out of fish. At lunch? What was the plan for the rest of the day? I changed my order to two crispy chicken sandwiches, and I headed home. I decided to eat one on the way home and the chicken wasn't even lukewarm.
