I've been eating at this Popeyes over 20 years. It was once the perfect stop. I could park at the truck stop next door, walk over, and get some great food. This place has went downhill in the past couple years. I decided to give it another try this evening. Ordered on the app, gave them almost half an hour before I walked over to get my food. The person taking the order is totally unpleasant, doesn't understand anything, and makes a lot of mistakes.All the tables are absolutely disgusting.
Keep driving! Do not stop at this location! I don't even have words to describe the experience we had here, but it's gotta be told. My family and I were on our way back home from a beautiful family vacation in Destin. We wanted to stop somewhere nice in Baton Rouge but time wasn't on our side as we had to return our rental.
