This is the first and last time that I will go to this restaurant. I went through the drive thru and probably the best part of the experience was the person who took my order. They were very pleasant. However, when trying to order 4 combo meals for my family I was told that I had to do two separate orders because they couldn't do more than 3 combo meals in an order. I was so happy when they opened this Popeyes in Clayton about a year ago, before that I had to go to Selma or Knightdale. And I like Popeyes better than Bojangles or KFC. I have been to numerous Popeyes restaurants in different states over the course of more than a decade. The worst experience I had until I visited this place last Sunday was that the chicken was maybe an hour old and didn't taste quite as good and fresh as when it just came out of the fryer, but still very much acceptable.
