Over priced meals Lack of service as they push everyone to the crap kiosk. Not worth the it.
Walked up to two workers standing at the counter doing nothing. There were signs saying debit/credit at kiosk and cash at counter. I walked up to counter and one worker asked how I was paying. I said debit and she told me I had to use the kiosk. I asked why can’t she just take my order and she repeated that I have to use the kiosk. I turned around and walked out. I want to order my food from a person. You take that away, I take my business elsewhere.
Very disappointing experience at Popeyes. The manager was rude, unprofessional, and made customers feel unwelcome. On top of that, the whole staff looked like they were forced to be there — no greeting, no positive attitude, and terrible customer service overall. The atmosphere felt negative from the moment I walked in. Definitely not the kind of experience you expect when paying for food and service.
I never have cared too much for Popeyes, often viewing it as a "poor man's KFC", but the food at this one was presentable, and actually tasted OK. The excellent service helped, but being in the middle of a busy rest stop made the atmosphere noisy and confusing.
