We were really excited to get some Popeye’s chicken because it’s not available in Vermont. They have two kiosks where you can order, and you can also order at the counter. However, the service was a bit slow, with only two people working. The food was good, but the service could have been better. It seemed like the people working there weren’t really enjoying their jobs.
The chicken was fresh and tender and tasted great. There is an issue with a staff at the cashier, a lady in 50s/60s, who was rude. No greetings or smile, and didn’t give me a chance to select the dipping for my wings. When I mentioned to “add lemon pepper sauce please”, she said in a very rude way “it is not a sauce”. Fine it is powder, but does it matter in what form it is? I said “I think the wings go with seasonings, please add my seasoning”. And she reluctantly added it and almost tossed the food to me.
Chicken was rubber. Difficult to bite into and chew. Looked to be cooked ok
Pass, immediately told no soda, how do you not have any soda selection for lunch? Charged me more for individual orders than a special just because I couldn't get soda, make it make sense? No chance for a second chance, just pass on this one.
