If you have a choice come yo yhe Des Moines Popeyes the service is phonemenal and they operate with pride. Gives family atmosphere and I almost forgot that I was just at Popeyes. Service was quick and the owner or manager knew all the deals and wanted to ensure everyone was well taken care of.
This was the nastiest Mac and cheese I’ve ever had. Pure mush. No flavor. Fries were cold. Not to mention whoever was working the window/ taking orders last night on 9/23/25 needs to be retrained. Very unprofessional, laughing and yelling in the speaker, and repeating my order back incorrectly multiple times. I hardly come here, but my experience has never been this poor.
Insanely slow, bad orders, didn't get food right.
I placed a pickup order. When I arrived they asked me to wait about 10 mins because they were still working on it. The staff was nice and I didn’t mind waiting except the fries came out literally COLD, they forgot my side of beans/rice, and gave 3 super small wings.
