Popeyes on Argyle Forest is the only one in the area, yet it consistently falls short in both customer service and basic operations. I can’t understand how there is almost always a 15–20 minute wait for chicken when chicken is the ONLY thing you sell. This has happened on multiple visits, which makes it a clear management issue rather than a one-time problem. This is the worst location… Horrible customer service and they never have anything. No ice for drinks and 20 minute wait for chicken every time!! They’re never busy either.
Was given unsweetened tea and had to ask for sweet tea. Cashier rolled her eyes. I had to ask for a straw and there were no napkins. Sandwich was made incorrectly and I had to go back through the drive thru. I got there at 4:13 and got my order about 15 min later the first time. The second time i went through dive thru was about 10 more minutes. Service was terrible in every capacity.
This place has the most rudest employees, the way they speak is completely uneducated, unprofessional to say the least. Went thru the drive thru to try to put in a order, received attitude and was told "we ain't got no ice" so I just canceled the order. I will not be returning, spending my money elsewhere. I do not recommend. Edit: Per your request it was yesterday 9/23/25 at around 2:15ish p.m., there was lawn maintenance company doing work at the time of my arrival.
Ordered online and made sure I ordered both sandwiches without pickles or mayo. It was on the app and on the physical receipt. Both sandwiches had mayo and pickles - and it looked like I was given extra mayo which is extremely disappointing. My Sprite was straight carbonated water. The only thing they got right was the fries, which were cold. Overall, not a great experience and do not recommend this location to anyone.
