Great Store This store has a wide selection of plastic models and RC items. The selection of model trains is good but could be bigger. Large selection of arts and crafts. Very knowledgable and helpful staff. I would recomend them to anyone who is interested in hobbies.
Fun to shop I took my kids to Pope's for model kits. They have the nicest selection I've seen. If you are a hobby person this store is the best north of Madison or Milwaukee.
Decent model airplane selection Pope's Hobby Land has a decent selection of model airplanes and other models. They also carry other art supplies and crafting supplies. The associates do not really seem to know much about the products they are selling though and they can be less than helpful at times. The prices are also a little on the high side as you can get the same kits elsewhere for less money. They have a small lot so it is fairly easy to park.
Worth the try Pope's is a place to go if you're really, really into your hobby. They have model airplanes, trains, and rockets. They also have a wide variety of art supplies, wedding supplies, and craft supplies. They have a lot of needlepoint patterns and miscellaneous supplies. Worth a visit if you're looking for something that's hard to find.
Ok This is an okay hobby shop - maybe if you are looking for something specific - otherwise their prices are alittle on the high side. They have a wide variety of things in the store - and the location is okay - crappy parking lot, but accessible. The staff has always been less than excited to be there. They never have any sales that I have seen.
