I was asked to pickup popcorn from here from a friend who found out we would be traveling to the Layton area from South Jordan. I ended up getting two 1 gallon tubs. First I was thrown off that that popcorn was all stored in the clear large trash bags. The location outside Layton mall was very dirty inside.floor had lots of rubbish and was not clean, overall dingy and not cared for location. The sea salt caramel corn is really good!
Spent $130 bucks here yesterday, and was super frustrated that they didn’t put dividers in our tins. EVERY TIME we have gone there, they use them. We got four flavors and let me tell you cinnamon does NOT mesh well with cheese and a peach! Had they told us, trust me, we would have made our selections differently! They could have at least put all the sweet popcorn on one side of the tin and the cheese on the other. What the heck were they thinking??? Can’t get a handful out without getting every flavor!!! I love to popcorn from this Popcorn Cottage. I got hooked buying from west valley store which closed🤨. But I am glad there is this store in Layton.
The popcorn is good, i'm just a little disappointed that they closed the West valley store. I paid $20 for a tin to get $10 refills and now i have to go to Layton to get it.
