History Established in 1995. Pop A Lock was founded by police officers in Lafayette, Louisiana. They saw 1st hand the need for an emergency locksmith service. We opened our franchise in 1995 here in Columbia and Lexington, SC. All of our employees live right here in the midlands. We encourage and support local businesses, they are the back bone of our economy.

I dropped my car keys in my trunk as I was unloading some groceries in the Wal-Mart parking lot. My purse was on the front seat of the car and all 4 doors were locked. Guess I had a senior moment! Went inside Wal-Mart to use someone's cell phone and called Pop A Lock. The guy was there in about 20 min., unlocked the passenger door, reached over to pop the trunk open and went through some grocery bags and found my keys in the bottom of the clothes basket. Thank you Pop A Lock for helping a senior in distress!
