Lunch at Poor Richard’s was great! The highlight was definitely the service: friendly, attentive, and always smiling. Plus, the food was delicious. I got the Sunday special, Grilled Pork Chops- five stars! My wife ordered the Chicken Cobb salad, and it looked delicious and massive. We need to return soon to try their breakfast options.
They have no idea how to make crisp bacon. Omg this is time after time I ask for crisp bacon and it's soggy limp greasy every time ! You have to put the cooked bacon on a paper towel to drain and cool. You can't throw it in a bin with 50 other pieces. It's rediculous . I do not like chewy limp bacon ! I guess I will bring my own .
Very good place. The food is awesome . A classic texas breakfast restaurant.
Have been going here for Saturday breakfast since 1988. Best biscuits and gravy you will find in north Texas.
