Dr Poon was my doc through a pregnancy with a lot of different risk factors and he held my hand through it all. Above being a great doc he was just a wonderful person and genuinely wanted to help. Thank you for everything and for the healthy babies I finally get to hold because of amazing doctors like you. Easily one of the best doctors I've had care for me
Terrible bedside manners giving myself and my wife the impression that he should have chosen a different career other than being a doctor. There is something going on deep inside of him that he presents this “ holier-than-thou” approach. I can’t think of one thing that went well in dealing with him as he would barely give you the time of day. After a lot of thought, I feel it's best to share my experience so that maybe someone in a similar situation with this man can feel empowered to advocate for themselves. Near the end of my pregnancy (Almost 38 weeks) I headed into get checked by the mat clinic being overly cautious as my blood pressure had been a bit elevated near the end of my pregnancy and I just wanted to be sure baby was okay. My wife has put 4 calls into to office to see where she is on the wait list. The receptionist has never bothered to return her call. Perhaps the Dr needs to hire anouther person if she is that busy.
