R.I.P Mr. Poole I’m sad to hear of Mike passing and the subsequent shutting down of Poole’s land. I was travelling with a friend in 2014 and we stumbled across this place. We smoked a joint with Mike and he sold us some mushrooms. He made our trip that much better. He was an interesting guy. Sounds like he had a rough time towards the end. Much respect Michael. I hope you found your utopian society wherever you are.
About Poole's Land what I have to say are just good things, I went there about 3 years ago.. I met people from all over the world, bonfires every night, ppl playing different types of instruments, beach life, community lunches.... I think there is no place like that in BC.. missing all this!
