Best routine blood test ever from the nurse Jacky. It didn’t hurt at all after some bad experiences elsewhere in the past.

I joined the Poole Town Surgery recently. I asked if I could see a Doctor. I got to see a Doctor within a few hours . at my old practice you had to wait at least two weeks . The Doctor who saw me [Kathleen Eyre] was totally professional and listened to my ailments with courtesy and understanding.she also gave me plenty of time to explain my symptoms. she stepped in at the last minute as the Doctor who i was meant to see was behind with her patients . Great surgery, fast response times and great service. Staff are friendly and polite. I am glad I changed from Lifeboat Quay to here.
I transferred to this practice last year and have been amazed how quickly my confidence in a GP practice has been restored after 42 years with another practice, which had really gone downhill since the start of the pandemic. Waiting weeks to see a GP was not unusual, in fact, after an x-ray, which obviously needed urgent attention, they offered me an appointment 7 weeks later!
