Paid for swimming session but when we arrived we were told we couldn't go in the pool we had booked we could only go in the baby pool... with my 9 year old. Which was too shallow to swim in. Because they had booked a class into the other pool. Refused a refund. Waste of money no apologies.
Safe to say this facility has improved so much! Everyone Active should be ashamed of themselves! Before the council took over this place was absolutely disgusting. It used to smell horrific in the changing areas, the showers used to never work, the pool was showing signs on mould and it used to look really dated. Since the Council took over, all these things have improved massively. They have also started putting toilet cleaner down the toilets. If this was still an Everyone Active ran facility. Went in to enquire about becoming a member and the lady at reception pointed to the different areas and said I could go ahead and take a look around by myself and then proceeded to talk to a family who had been waiting. Pretty poor experience, needless to say I walked out after 5 minutes
