My wife saw her after getting severely burned. She has ZERO bedside manner (grabbed burned arms) and was not sympathetic. She tried to discharge my wife with out giving her more pain medicine. She told my wife she only had 1st degree burns when it is actually 2nd degree burns. Gave no instructions on further care.
I had a very poor experience with this doctor. She didn't listen to my concerns, insisted on releasing me against all my medical history that pointed towards severe life threatening condition. She constantly interrupted me in the 2 minutes I had a chance to see her over a course of 9 hours at the ER.
Dr. Desai treated me in ER of Condell hospital at Libertyville and impressed me very much with her skills and compassion for a patient. I am truly grateful for that!
