Really disappointing, especially since it is our friends' favourite curry restaurant in Ponteland. Major criticism: undercooked chicken leg sprinkled with tandoori flavouring is NOT chicken tandoori. Just my opinion of course.
The food here was really nice, I enjoyed! We went not long after opening time so it was very quiet, the food came out promptly and was piping hot! Got to say though, the naan breads were probably the best I've ever had! The prices were pretty decent for what we got too! Couple of minor criticisms, they placed other couples right next to us despite there being loads of empty seats one of which were particularly loud and the coke was flat! Very nice.
Great food, we ordered the lamb jalfrezi and the lamb balti, loved it. The waiter we had was very accommodating and patient with our group, and pointed us in the right direction for the spiciness we wanted. Highly recommended!!
Chicken Tikka dansak was bland, sheek kebab looked like it was the frozen and microwave. Spent �50 expected a couple of free poppadoms which I had to pay for.
