I just wanted to share a big thank you to Nurse Sally at the walk-in center. Yesterday, I brought my daughter in for her ongoing wheeze issues, and Sally attended to us with such care and professionalism. She checked us thoroughly and provided the best possible treatment. We felt truly looked after, and I really appreciate her dedication and kindness. Thank you, Sally!
Had a poor experience today. Thankfully my issue is only minor. But nonetheless I feel the need to comment as someone else with a more severe problem may be ill informed. I had a minor infection on my bum cheek. Small splinter from a slate roof tile. I left it for a couple days and squeezed it (which I shouldn’t.) This caused a minor infection and a lymph node swelled up inside the groin to protect me which is great but was painful. I found myself having to visit here on a Sunday evening during a visit to Newcastle. They were amazing. Very efficient, very friendly and very knowledgeable. They put me at ease and resolved my issue within 30 mins. One course of antibiotics and I was back on my way. Fantastic people and a fantastic service. Newcastle are very lucky to have them
