Would not recommend. Maintenance sucks, office staff sucks. No one answers the phone in the office. When I originally moved in last year we had a work order in for a thermostat for over three months, never completed. We finally decided to change it ourselves, thank goodness my man works HVAC. Be prepared to fight for your security deposit. "While my time living here was okay, the move-out process regarding my security deposit was extremely difficult. The management failed to return my refund within the 45-day legal limit required by Maryland law. I was repeatedly given excuses about 'mailing errors' and 'address forwarding' that turned out to be inaccurate after I verified them with the USPS . Pros: the place feels pretty safe, my apartment was in good condition overall with decent appliances. Never had any issues with parking. Cons: the office is not responsive. The amount of paperwork we had to do is ridiculous and they take longer than you’d expect to process it. They’ll tell you it’ll take a week but it’ll be 3-4 weeks. They asked for my tax returns, no other place I’ve lived at has needed that and I wasn’t comfortable providing it. Wonderful place to reside. We love it! *Updating my review after 4 years of residency at move out. Once upon a time, Ponds Edge was a wonderful place to call home. With changes in ownership and constant switching of staff/maintenance workers, the property has definitely seen better days. Moving back to Ponds Edge would not be my first choice to be completely honest and fair. These apartments are a shadow of their former glory days!
