My friend and I stayed at the lodge as part of our Colorado roadtrip. The bed and bedding were awesome; we both slept really well. Very nice accommodations and the view can’t be beat.
old school mountain ski cabin but everything works. great staff, comfy rooms. lots of of wildfire recruit training happens here, positive vibe all around.
I stayed at the Ponderosa Lodge 4 times over a 25 year period - twice as a group member and twice as a group leader. Every experience was a great one. The staff is fantastic, the food is great, and the facility itself is everything you imagine and want in a picturesque mountain lodge. Every memory of the place makes me smile.
