I have been coming and staying at these cabins since I was like 7. It has always been an amazing and memorable experience. It was so fun and comforting to come again as an adult. The new updates made them feel fresh and they provide everything you need for a relaxing stay. I loved the 3/4 mile hike to the overlook, highly suggest.
Not the best place to go with friends. Was told very early by the on site Manager in a very non pleasant way to keep it down or leave. I'd say they cater to families. Was very beautiful.

The ponderosa cabins are great for small or big families. They have made some upgrades with the cabinets/countertops as well. These cabins have fireplaces and heaters. There are two queen beds in the bedroom and a sofabed in the living room. The lake is in front of the cabins. A great view!
The Ponderosa Cabins at Red Canyon Lodge are in a scenic location, and are very comfortable. The staff are fantastic and the cabins are extremely clean. There are a ton of wildlife nearby, including deer, elk, and big horn sheep. There is a lake directly in front of the cabins, with great views of the cabin. Red Canyon overlook is also in hiking distance from the cabins, with the most scenic views arguably in the world!
