DO NOT RECOMMEND. My sister recently moved to the area and began seeing Dr. Ponder for prenatal care. At her 40 week appointment, and the appointment prior, he did not check her - only took her blood pressure. She expressed she did not want to be induced before 41 weeks - he scheduled it anyway. She got a second opinion and called and canceled the induction. He was "offended" and refused to give further prenatal care. Now SHE IS 40+ WEEKS with no prenatal care, and every other hospital is short-staffed and doesn't have room ... read more

Dr. Ponder was my daughter's obstetrician and I would recommend him to any woman who needs an obstetrician are a gynecologist. He has a great bed side manner and really cares about the care he provides for his patients. Dr. Ponder has a real personality and explained all options and addressed all of my daughters worries and questions. He was there at her delivery and made the best decisions about her care during a difficult delivery by a c-section . Thank you so much Dr. Ponder.
Dr. Ponder is amazing. I've been his patient for 10yrs. He has the best bedside manner. He doesn't act like this is just a job like other Dr's do. He acts like this is his life, he shows so much care and compassion.
Dr.Ponder is a great Dr. He made sure and assure me that everything will be ok with me and my son. I could not ask for a better Dr. Thank You Dr. Ponder.
