Worst customer service. I went in the open an account on a Friday at 5:30 and they rolled their eyes at me because clearly it was too close to closing 6:00 time. Then they gave me a hard time about the documents I provided to show proof of residency. This place is worse than the DMV - stuck in like 1985 or something. I’m sure the owner would not like to hear that their employees turned away a customer like they did.
I patronized numerous "big named banks" in the past. Though convenient (due to numerous branch availability), they all fell flat in personal engagement with the customer. I have been banking with Ponce for nearly a decade and I do not feel like a "face in the crowd." I receive a friendly greeting when I visit my favorite branch, the staff and I are on a first-name basis and my financial needs are ALWAYS met with top grade professionalism and when issues occur, they are ALWAYS resolved. Ponce Bank employs great people.
