This is an excellent office. I've been coming here for over two years. The point of contact staff/reception is professional and friendly. The doctors are conscientious and kind. I appreciate the short wait times to see the doctor and the thoroughness of each appointment. It's a well-run office. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about HVA.

This is an excellent office. Period. The point of contact staff/reception is professional and friendly. The doctors are conscientious and kind. I appreciate the short wait times to see the doctor, but also the thoroughness of each appointment. Additionally, the waiting room decor and furniture are modern and stylish and the office is always properly ventilated. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about HVA.

Actually 0 stars. Called over a week ago to make an appointment. Was told they need my labs/notes before I could even schedule an appointment. I gave my name and number and was told I would get a call back to schedule. Records were sent and no call received. Needless to say I found another Endocrinologist practice that gave me an appointment immediately. Person I spoke to was not so friendly either. I was made to feel as though I was a bother as I was going to be a new patient.

Called in 4/24 was promised an immediate appointment because my bloodwork is very bad. Faxed over myself the stuff required to book it while on the call, called back several times to book the appointment and was told to stop calling and wait for them to call me and not to worry they will book it. When they called back on 5/8 they offered me an appointment for 6/3 and said you called on 4/24 we had plenty of openings but they are now taken you waited too long. Dr. Kiran Syed is my Primary Care Physician at the HVA Medical Group in Pompton Plains, NJ, and I am proud to say that she is the finest PCP I have ever had. Dr. Syed truly cares about the health and welfare of her patients, and despite her busy schedule, she always provides ample time to speak with and understand her patient's needs.
