Enjoyable food and atmosphere Two of these locally owned restaurants in the area. One on Long Shoals Rd and the other on Hwy 70/Tunnel Rd. All meals have been superb whether eating there for lunch, early bird dinner or celebratory dinner. The owners strive to achieve quality dishes using alot of locally grown produce. And it works! The ambience is upscale with an international hip vibe.

Eat the Calamari! My husband & I ate Sunday brunch at Pomodoro's during a weekend trip to Asheville. The food was amazing, most especially the calamari which was absolutely astounding. The service was also excellent. It is not located in Asheville's restaurant district so it is a bit of a drive, but well worth it.
