Horrible food and service!!! – If I could leave no stars, I would! My boyfriend and I ate here last night for dinner for the first time. They have looked busy in the past, so we thought we would try it out. We got a nice table, but it did take a minute for someone to help us at the front. Good food. – Good food, but slightly overpriced.
Great Italian dining option in Durham – We've been there twice - service was excellent, food was very good on both occasions. Prices are reasonable. The decor could use an uplift. The booth seating is tired and the carpeting smelled a wee bit. Take a moment to meet the owner, as we did on our first visit. She?s a sweetie, and her hubby, the chef, is the real deal. Recommended.
Good Food, slow service in large groups – I went here for a mom's night outing. We had a large group of probably over 20 moms, and so our service was a bit slow. However, it was my first time here and I had the carbonata pasta (that may be spelled wrong). The pasta has bacon and a egg cream sauce- I had leftovers the next day and it was just as awesome. The prices are reasonable. Although I'm hoping the next time I visit there the interior is more inviting and less showing of a retired Shoney's location.
Tasty food! – This is not a fancy italian restaurant, but they had good, solid food. If you're looking for italian food but don't want to spend a bunch, go here! We went here on a weeknight at about 830 and the place was empty. I think there were all of three parties in the whole place and this is a good-sized restaurant. Prices are reasonable. Simple, casual italian dining, I'd definitely go back.
